    These new parts compatible?

    So I am going to be upgrading my system really soon
    Already upgraded the GPU and the PSU,

    I would love some of your expert advice on my pickings

    New specs
    CPU= i7 4790K
    Motherboard= Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 motherboard

    I would also like to ask is the h90 a good cooler for the i7 I have picked?

    And will this Case Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Gaming Case
    work with the Corsair h90 CPU cooler?

    I picked out that case as it has 140mm support but on the specs it says = 120mm/140mm Fan Vent just making sure that it will fit

    thanks for reading my post

    Hi,
    Not so sure the cpu cooler will fit anywhere but the front of the case :/
    It's a 140mm and all you have is 120mm fans on the case,
    Being the rear I guess is the most likely place for the cpu cooler but these radiators like to be intakes not exhausts but several people have used them as exhausts without issue
    I prefer as a intake which would put the rad at the front of the case
    The case does look wide enough on the front for a 140mm fan on it but I don't see on Newegg where it states there's enough room ? blue fan is 120mm and blue led,

    But the top is the most common location for a radiator,

    So it would seem this cpu cooler would fit in 3 locations being it has 120mm fans

    I have no idea where the 2-80mm fans are located on the case :/

    Hi thanks for the reply, was also asking on Overclockers fourms, and decided to change case and cooler, I am going to go with a H80i and another Case, just for price and fitting, thanks for the detailed reply, I am going to keep my options open in the next few weeks :)

    Hi,
    If you get a new case these would be better for the cpu your buying,
    A 120mmx 240mm
    Corsair Hydro Series? H100i GTX Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm - Newegg.com
    I have this one mounted on the front of my case which is a Corsair 450D mid tower,
    The 120mmx240mm would fit best on the top of the 450D
    Or 140mmx280mm on the front I did have to remove most of the extra hdd trays though I didn't need them anyway
