    Startup Repair Stuck.

    Hi,

Acer Aspire, no idea what model. Windows 7.

It's on it's last legs. I don't know why it's causing it to go here:

Upon boot, heaps of $ signs that are spread around flash for like 2 seconds then disappear. It then proceeds to ask me to start up System Repair,

I do that, it starts loading the files and the windows vista loading thing loads for a sec, it will then sometimes stay on a blank screen, or proceed to a blue screen with the mouse in the middle and the vista artwork, Don't know what you would call it. I can wiggle the mouse.

If I spam F8 to get into the recovery options. I click on safe mode with cmd to try to do a System Restore, but it blue screens as soon as its finished loading the files. But the BSOD stays for like half of a second and disappears. It then proceeds to restart and asks me to do System Repair again.

Please help! I don't have an option for another computer [Family Reasons]

    Thanks!

If I was to choose Load last good known Config it loads to the starting windows with the Win7 logo thing but after a moment it BSODS. Again it's to quick to catch the error. Or the logo doesn't load at all and i'm stuck on the Starting Windows. Just those 2 words and the Microsoft Corporation thing down the bottom.

I disabled Automatic restart after System Failure and it comes up with the following errors:

    UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

0x000000ED and then all the usual crap.

    Please help.
