    Fat32 format in Win7

I want to format a USB stick to play music in my car. Everything I've read in the Honda forum says to use a Fat32 format. Is this possible in Win7? I don't see this option when I try to format it.

    Thanks

That's a common problem. I think the Windows formatter won't offer you FAT32 if the drive is above a certain size.

Yeah, you need FAT 32 for car playback in most cases. I tried ExFAT and it didn't work.

The USB thing works well for me. 15,000 songs on a 64 GB drive the size of a jelly bean.

Here's what I use to format:

    Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd

It is a GUI version of fatformat.exe, which is command line only. You can accept the default allocation unit size. If you choose a smaller size, you will be able to fit a few more songs on your drive---not many.
