Right so the printers not there, first of all go to the same screen where you made the screenshot,
RIGHT click on all but the One drive printer and remove them.

Install the driver in compatability mode (XP).

Then plug in your printer and goto the "add printer" (top left) select , it should then appear on your screen,
and hopefully It will be working.

If not Right click on the printer select troubleshooter.

In that case I'd say you need a new cable.

Connect printer via crossover cable
I need to connect a printer via crossover cable to a Win7/64 laptop. The printer has a USB port, but it is defective. I created a xover cable (and tested it so I know it's good). How do I set up this printer (HP Deskjet 6940) using the xover cable connected to the ethernet port on the laptop? I...

Can I use a Y-splitter printer cable? Do they work?
I was looking at this cable and I know it doesn't work because the red connector only carries power and no data. Is there a Y-splitter printer cable that will work? I don't want to buy a print router because my workload does not require one and if a y-splitter doesn't work will this hub work?

Installing printer via Ethernet Cable
Silly question maybe but is there anyway to use an ethernet cable to directly connect my printer to my computer or is there no such thing? I have an older printer which has no USB connection. My new computer also does not have the old style printer port which is required for this printer. My...
