    DELL LATITUDE E6430 i5 500gb hdd change to SSD


    hi there forums world well im going to stomp out for a new or second hand ssd what u guys recon id love one about 500gb or more not bothered with the smaller ones.just love to ask you guys what one should i get but im not a big fan of paying a bunch of money out for something i dont really need.was wondering are they worth buying and do they ever break down i have been looking at this site but love you guys info.thanks guys

    I'm using a Samsung EVO 850, 500GB drive on my Win 10 system (was 8.1 and upgraded to 10). I also have an older Samsung EVO 840 500GB on Win 7 (dual boot system). I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Samsung if I needed an SSD.

    thanks fireberd did a bit or research and they say the scandisk on is good plus got a 10 year warranty so hope thats all i need.seen this one but bit 2 pricy for me lol Samsung 850 PRO 1 TB

    quick question fireberd sorry to be a pain well maybe you know the answer.i bought a sandisk 280gb extreme pro and im putting it into my dell latitude e6430.i change the bios to ahci.then load a fresh install of windows on my dell through usb all goes through great but wifi cant get working i have tried all the drivers to nothing working and when i use setting from here

    but i get a error at the end do u know why.also when i cloned my hdd onto my ssd i had a problem as well as the laptop would not load up on bios for ssd set to ahci i had to change them back to the way the hdd was.please would you have a idea what im doing wrong .what setting did u have your bios at for the ssd.as my ordinary hdd works great just having priblems with this ssd wifi drivers not loading.do u think could be the iso on the usb stick should i try load it again
