    CPU Fan is really loud

    Hello,

recently, I've put a new psu in my lenovo h50-50 tower and now I notice that my cpu fan is really loud, but thankfully the temp is not increasing too much due to piriform speccy telling me. I also notice that when I take the case off, it stops being loud. The temp stays around 65 degrees Celsius. Is that OK if it stays loud?

It sounds like the CPU cooler was bumped while replacing the power supply and probably messed up the heat sink compound. Get some new heat sink compound (Arctic Silver- what most techies use), clean off the old from the CPU cooler and the top of the CPU, apply new compound and reinstall the CPU Heat sink (cooler).

Terribly sorry it actually appeared that it was a software I was using that caused it because my cpu was at max usage. It's better now though. Thank you so much again.
