    i/o ERROR FOR WESTERN DIGITAL 1TB EXTERNAL HARD DISK


    I am using WD 1TB external Harddisk(Windows 7 home premium 64 bit), but few days ago, when i want to transfer file to my harddisk, it's fail to do so. After this , I just close my folder and off my laptop, but starting that time, it start show I/O error when i connect hard disk to laptop, even laptop can detect the hard disk also, it also show nothing and cant open the hard disk folder, can somebody please help me to solve this problem?

    1.Please furnish full details of your Western Digital External drive. Model Number , model name etc.,

    2.Plug in your external drive into another working system and check what happens. If you can access the drive, immediately copy all files in it to another drive.
