Is it possible to delete page file partition?

    Hello,

I am running out of space on my C drive and want to delete my d drive and extend the c drive.

The option to delete the D drive is greyed out. I tryed deleting it in partition wizard, but was unable to.

I have backed up the D drive. Is my only option to reinstall win 7?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You first need to remove the pagefile from the partition. Set "No paging file" in the pagefile configuration and reboot. You should then be able to delete the partition. Make the C: drive large enough to accommodate the pagefile. There is no advantage in having the pagefile on a partition separate from the OS unless it is on a separate physical drive.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have sorted it now as per LMiller7's instructions.
