USB flash drive is not work
My USB Flash drive was connecting to PC, that my windows 7 suddenly crashed.
After that, my Flash never works right! Device Manager recognizes it slowly and its icon is shown on My Computer just as drive (without size) more slowly. Nevertheless, other software such as Disk Manager or any Recovery Soft or Command Prompt> diskpart will be frozen so I cannot handle it. I test it on other pc but the answer was same. My USB Flash drive is Silicon Power M01 USB3 16GB. Any advice would be great, thank you |

If it happens on different computers, it is somehow corrupt or faulty.
Do you have any data on it you need to get or just want to make it work again? If you don't need data from it: You can try zeroing the drive with imageusb - Tools for OSForensics - ImageUSB - Write an image to multiple USB Flash Drives |

Removable Flash Drive Recognized as a Local Disk and not a Flash Drive I recently purchased a 32 GB San Disk Flash Drive. The security files pre-installed on the drive were junk, and I could not delete them so I formatted the drive to remove them. This cleaned the disk, and it holds data, but I'm not sure if this is part of my problem. I am trying to load my copy of... |
