is it time for a new mobo? hypertransport sync flood error

    Hello!
I have two issues, the htsf error seems to be triggered by gaming and the loss of video output and reset button functionality which occurs if i leave the pc on for some time seems to be randomish but possibly linked. I have just installed a new gpu but tried the setup with the old gpu and had the same issues. Also i have moved everything to a new case. Also i added 4gb ram bringing it to 8. My conclusion at the moment is that i must have nacked the mobo when i did all this. Currently the mobo is not raised on the spacer screws as this seemed to throw the access panels out of alignment on the back. Any ideas for diagnosing this or should i just admit defeat?
    Thanks
