PCMCIA FireFire Cards Error Code 12

I am having trouble getting my computer to recognize PCMCIA FireWire cards. I am getting error code 12, unable to allocate resources when I plug in the card. I have tried cards from several manufacturers and they all do the same thing. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 32-Bit on a Miltope MSD-V2-915 laptop computer. The chipset used for the PCMCIA interface is a TI PCI-4520.

    Just curious.
Where did you find one of these? Did it come with Enterprise installed?

Everything I find says it has a fire wire interface built in already. Maybe the pcmcia does not support it or it needs a different driver. But, it is a gov mil spec device and originally for military, aviation and tactical ops use. Good luck finding much more about it.
