    Hello nikhilkalra!

    This is frustrating.. :/

What happened prior to this problem occurring, is there data on the drive? I would suppose if there is you don't need it? Which model of the WD My Passport drives is this? Have you by any chance locked the drive or set a password to it? What's the exact error message?

    Please post back! :)

The main thing is the data that is necessary for me..
IT is WD My Passport Essential Ultra-Portable Hard Drive. 320GB USB 2.0
When I open my computer but the drive not shows.. and when I open Disk Management there shows UNALLOCATED.
Then I tried Mini Partition Recovery Software but it doesn't work.
Now What should I do. Plz help me somebody

I see now, you need the data back, I asked if it's important as you mention Initializing the disk, which automatically erases data. Still, there may not be a chance to get the data back. :/

The Unallocated status in Disk Management and the fact that the third party software don't detect the device is not promising. What happened prior to the issue?

Please, change the cable, the port (try USB 2.0 and USB 3.0) and the system on which you are trying to open the device, is there any change? Please download WD Data Lifeguard support and scan the device, perform both Quick and Extended tests, and post a screenshot of the SMART values there.

Also, try booting into a Linux based Live CD, see if you can access the drive there. I usually suggest Ubuntu, but you could also use this tutorial from Golden on SevenForums: Peppermint Live CD/DVD/USB - Create for Emergency Backup.

    Post back! :)
