    Hi,
If you can ask the fellow what the deal is with the utility and it's finding of other sensors = 1 example is corsair link software I forget what the first sensor it found and did go any further with the corsair link sensor finding before I closed it and uninstalled it,

When it say disable the sensor what sensor is it talking about and what is it disabling
The sensor it found is it disabling it or it's own ? or just reading the sensor it found ?
All very confusing for nothing more than my morbid curiosity :)

I wouldn't want this utility to disable a sensor of corsair link because that is my liquid cpu cooler

Ok mate I will ask and just for the record my opinion is that the program is not perfect in that it flicks up that update thing I just close them all and use the Sensor button or the +'s to get very in depth info on say RAM sticks for example. Personally I have never had any problems with it trashing anything like sensors on/in my machines.
The one thing that it does niggle me with - is drop out if I minimize it for a second or two and one has to fire it up again. But on the whole I wouldn't be without it because the number of times I have used it on my own machines to find for example what network connection it is using where the board or machine manufacturers site often quote two a sheer pleasure as it saves me mucking around trying to download the right driver

The sensor button is what prompted all of the warnings :/
The popup message wasn't very detailed on what exactly it was disabling or wanted to disable is why I bailed out.
Heck possibly it is not compatible with x99 boards who knows ?

You could be right Ken re the board but I haven't had chance yet to ask. Like I said I cannot remember seeing that warning and it is hard to imagine that a piece of software put out for free public consumption would have a nasty like that embedded I it - it doesn't if you think about it make sense because the author would need to be a moron or plain cookoo.

I use cpuid/ gpu tweak/ corsair link/ Real temp these are the ones I'm aware of and I'm sure there are more sensors for the board I don't know of
I quit after the second popup message = no telling how many others would come after the second.

You might ask if he is insane

Not my style Ken and I am surprised you aid that even in humour as I am sure Martin has put a lot into this program.

What you said about the machine in question I alluded to a while ago anyway so I am leaving this one as I don't feel comfortable in it now.

Look the very last thing I am going to say is that quote was made as a general statement and not about the authour in actuality I neither think he is a moron or a fool I was saying if the authour WHOEVER that might be who would do something like that would be as I said please do not twist or put words in my mouth.

I apologise your name as well as you can tell no doubt I am not perfect.
