2MB of unallocated space between partitions?

    Hello.

I have my main C: partition with all of my data, a 2MB chunk of unallocated space, then a 138GB block of space that I want to extend C: into, but I can't because of the 2MB of space. Pic:

I can't actually do anything with this 2MB. I tried creating a simple volume with it, but I get this:

Maximum size, 0. Minimum size, 1. What? I can only enter in 0 or 1, and neither lets me click next.

Is there any way I can use this space?

I recommend NOT using windows to mess with partitions, I would be doing it safely with a Partition Wizard Boot CD. So much easier.

I would just delete the extended partition , if you have nothing on it, then you can either add space to C or just create another Primary partition out of the unallocated space.

    I'm just using the built-in Win7 manager.

I don't have any extended partitions, just C, the unallocated space, and the free space.

I just want to add all of the space to the right of C into C, but that unallocated space is screwing with something. It should be as easy as right clicking C and hitting extend volume, but it's greyed out.

The free space IS an extended partition, you see how it`s wrapped in a dark green border ?

Just delete it, then do what you want.

You can`t do anything with the 2 MB because it`s to small and windows won`t let you.

    Use PW :)

You can make a disc or just install and use PW, but using the disc is much safer.

Oh man, thanks! I am so stupid. I was looking at the long green stripe, and I was completely ignoring the border. I thought I could just extend C with free space, apparently not. I deleted the volume and extended C in like 3 clicks. Thanks again.
