    Cooling Solution

Do I need a cooler for my i7-2600 CPU? If so what is the best budget cooler for this kind of system? Some people say the CM Hyper 212 EVO but in my country there is only CM Hyper 212X. If your in the Philippines please tell me what store has a CM Hyper 212 EVO. Help

    Yes you need a cooler.

I don't live in the Philippines, but is it possible to order from off shore if you can find the 212 EVO locally? Are there other similar options, like the Cooler Master V8?

Are there any budget coolers that you might suggest? How about DeepCool CPU Coolers? How about the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Turbo Edition (20th Anniversary) CPU Cooler w/ 2 Fans that's available on our country?

Do you have a link to the web site from which you might buy in the Philippines? Provide the link and let us look over their cooler selection.

Also--what is your budget in Philippine currency?

Here are the links that I mostly visit when it comes to buying computer parts:
    PriceMe
    DynaQuest
    PCX
    Villman
My budget in Philippine currency is ₱1000-3000 maybe more if its worth it.

    Thanks

Here are 3 good coolers from the Priceme.com link:

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2) Price Philippines - PriceMe

    Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO

    2133 P

Cheapest of the 3 at 2133 P. Excellent price/performance ratio. Make sure it is not too tall to fit in your case. Not particularly quiet. I think this cooler is 159 mm tall. It would fit in most but not all cases.

Noctua NH-U12S Performance Cooler | DynaQuest PC

    Noctua NH-U12S

    2800P

The best of the 3 coolers. Very quiet. 158 mm high and will fit in most cases. Superb mounting system. This is a cheap price relative to the Coolermaster above. In the USA, this Noctua usually costs twice as much as the Coolermaster. Includes excellent Noctua thermal paste and a low noise adapter if you want to make it run even quieter. This is the cooler I use and would be my choice IF it will fit in your case.

Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile CPU Cooler | DynaQuest PC

    Noctua NH-L12

    2590 P

This is a low profile cooler that I would get if the Noctua NH-U12S will not fit in your case. Height is 93 mm with both fans attached. It has 2 quiet fans and you can remove one fan if you want. It's performance is not as good as the U12S--about the same as the Coolermaster. But it will fit in almost any case. It also includes Noctua paste and the excellent mounting system.

I'd get the Coolermaster if I wanted to save money. I'd get the Noctua U12S if it will fit and the price was OK. I'd get the Noctua NH-L12 if I had a narrow case that would not accept a taller cooler.

Any of the 3 will be fine for your purposes unless you are doing some very high overclocking.
