HD video on hard disk ..no Problem ..through Internet Shutdowns

When I play HD video ( 258 MB)...36 minutes long on hard disk ..no Problem ..through Internet I just get Shutdowns.
I assume the video card is working fine ,but outside problems , cable throughput not sufficient etc may be the problem.Any thoughts would be appreciated .

What exactly do you mean by "Shutdowns"?

I doubt that the cable is the issue. It's just wire.

Your simple "disable hardware acceleration on your browser"...saved my sanity as I was trying everything for the past 2 months ,including paying big money to Geek Squad ,changing the hard drive etc etc etc.

So , I would like to ask another favor of your expertise as I have picked up another problem when the Geek Squad put all my files in one folder so nothing is where it should be.How best can I get all the files in that one folder back into their proper application and location ?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi,
    Glad that helped :)

Open that 1 folder they created and post a screen shot lets see if there's other folders in there
Otherwise it's a painful moving back to where they belong chore

    Hi,

I was afraid your answer would be as you described. Here are 3 screen shots of the 120 items ,56 of which are folders .In my first encounter with Geek Squad to get things back where they belong they took 4 hours of online remote support just to get back 50% of my Outlook data ,never mind my photos , program applications etc.

They charged me $200 for 1 year support and $100 to put all my data in one folder. plus $60 for a new hard drive. So should I keep them and have them put things back slowly over a period of time or are there other options?

You don't know how much your help turned around what I was about to do.....pay up to $1000 for a new desktop computer.I was desperate to end the constant BSOD every 2- 5 minutes .Now I have a .....:)

    Thanks!

Back up Storage an Option ?

I do have a back up storage unit that was pretty much up to date.Does that have files with applications in place so I don't have to go through that long process of putting back all the data in one file back together with applications ?
