    Is my power supply adequate?

My Dell T3400 was available with the options of a 375W or a 500W power supply. I bought a refurb with the 375 PSU, but have been adding memory, drives, and boards since then. I assume that at some point I'll be overtaxing the PSU, but how can I tell when I've reached that point?

    Hi,
Well the device that needs the most power is a graphic's card/ gpu so always read the minimum requirements you're a bit limited there with only a 375w psu
Most NVidia gtx models require a 4-600w psu minimum.

A bigger PSU is always a good idea. They are not very expensive and easy to switch.

Should be okay for now, but as you start putting higher end components in your desktop computer you will have to upgrade. You don't have to go absolutely crazy like a 1000W power supply, I feel in the 600-750W range would be suitable.
