    Check the Anker support site for your model. I noticed they have firmware upgrades for some of their USB 3.0 hubs

    Also check if any BIOS update available for your m/b
    Score one for you, I went to the asus website and saw there was a "intel USB 3.0 driver" download for my motherboard, and it fixed it, thank you.

    I'm confused stuckstuck.

    In my post #4 and # 6 I asked if you had installed drivers for usb 3.0.

    In your post #7 you stated (Yes).

    Now in your post # 11 you state you installed the usb 3.0 drivers and things work.

    This is very confusing.

    Did you install manually your usb 3.0 drivers?
    Do your usb 3.0 ports work with out using the hub?

    Yes.
    How could the proper answer be yes if you didn't have the usb 3.0 drivers installed until post #11.

    Please help me understand this!

    Apologies, there must have been a misunderstanding on my part.
    When I had answered yes to your question it wasn't towards the driver question, it was towards this one > "Do your usb 3.0 ports work with out using the hub?".
    I had already answered the driver question when I said that my USB hubs are PnP, meaning no, I didn't download any drivers because there wasn't any; I'm only now realizing that you meant the USB drivers for my motherboard.

    Nope. It's hat's off to you Layback Bear!

    @stuckstuck
    Driver fixed the problem. But if you haven't do so yet still check if a firmware upgrade available for that hub
