Super annoying USB freeze on mouse/keyboard on switch user

Hey all, I'm a veteran with PC's but I cannot figure this one out.

PC: Desktop pc, custom built with Windows 7 64bit pro, SP1 with latest msft updates

Problem: When two windows accounts are logged into my PC, and I use the switch user function to go from the standard account to the administrative account, the USB mouse and keyboard (wired) LOCK up, freeze. It's not until I unplug them and plug them back in that they regain functionality.

    Narrow downs:

-Does not happen when switching from admin account to standard user account
-Does not happen when logging off from standard account first
-Does not happen in safe mode
    -Reinstalled chipset drivers, no go
-Unplugged everything USB except mouse and keyboard, no go
-Unplugged keyboard and left mouse in, no go
-Unplugged mouse, and left keyboard in, no go
-Does not happen any further AFTER I've unplugged mouse/kybd to fix the problem until next reboot/shutdown or logged off both accounts and re-log in them
-Checked all USB drivers in device manager and unchecked allow computer to turn off device
-checked power options and disabled usb selective suspend
-disabled all third party startup items and third party services in msconfig, still no go

What I don't want to do: os reinstall

What I would consider doing if no other fixes/options: recreate the standard profile

    help?

This may not help you, but...

I had similar issues with the K/M, until I realized that the both of them were plugged in to USB 3 ports. Switching to USB 2 ports fixed it for me.

Yea I believe I tried almost every port I had, with no difference. Thank you though.

I got it!!! Wow. Sometimes problems can be overthought. I went into the standard user profile in question and started killing specific processes running one by one. It turns out the VIBER.exe is causing the problem! Viber is a skype-like program my wife uses and she had it installed which run out of the windows profile. After killing viber, all is well! I'm going to send them a ticket about this. Case closed!
