    Help with Power Switch/PSU?

Okay, so this is a continuation of this thread: Help with Front Panel/Power Button Connector

Okay, so I don't know why, but when I have the 24-pin connector for my motherboard halfway in (or halfway out, if you're that kind of guy) all of my led fans kick on, but none of my front panel configurations can turn it on. Please see the above thread for more information!

Well, the problem kind of spread to other areas...
Such as the all the fans working up when the 24 pin power connector is halfway in. Why is that?

From what you have said here & in your other post, you have changed the motherboard to a new case, so you really need to check that the MB is standing proud of the case & there are no points of contact other than the mounting screw points.

You also mention that the fans work if you have the 24 pin connector half way in, but not if fully in, so this also confirms the possibility that the MB could be shorting onto the case.

All connectors should always be fully inserted.
