Red LED, automatic shutdown, not booting
Hello,
I might be posting in the wrong thread, since I don't really know WHAT exactly is wrong with my computer.
My specs are:
Corsair CX750 PSU
AMD FX 8350 eight-core processor at 4.0GHz
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon R9 200series (4GB) Videocard
THe problem is, after booting up the pc, sometimes the red LED blinks furiously (on startup, or while staring at my desktop). The computer shuts off and won't turn on again. After waiting for a good while it still won't turn on, unless I cut off the power and turn it on back again. Sometimes the PC runs for a long time with no problems, sometimes it shuts off quicker. While all of this is happening, usually I don't have any suspicious noises coming out of it. But sometimes the fans make an annoying noise either while booting, or while the computer has been running for some time.
I've read up on some forums that I could have a faulty PSU or a cooling problem. I tried cleaning off all the dust from inside (there was barely any). Figured it could be something with my OS perhaps, so I formatted my PC. After the format it ran quite well, so I was happy. I couldn't really tell what happened, but I left it running and came back to a dead PC. Before the format I also had ocassional blue screens, can't really tell the errors right now, but they were due to my videocard usually. But it seems to be fine.
All my fans work too, and no wiring is in the way, no loose bolts or any lying around in the case.
My machine is located in a cool area, so I'm not sure if temperature is an issue.
Mostly the red LED is bothering me (can't really specify my case), which is located near my RESET button. I have a blue LED near my POWER button and after the reset button the red pest is located, which ocassionaly blinks at the moment. Sometimes theres two short pulses. Why that bothers me? Because it didn't happen before this way, until this problem came up.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in regards
