    Can't delete folder off USB


    Trying to delete a folder off a usb drive. Can't do it. It was suppose to be songs but it looks corrupt. See pic. Thanks.

    The simple answer is "usually" to copy any files that you need from the USB into a folder on your desktop then format the USB.

    Only you can tell. If the folders don't open, then they are corrupt.

    I'll suggest to try first with this litlle tool: Download Unlocker 1.9.2 - FileHippo.com

    If it don't help, format it with HP Format Tool: Download HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool 2.2.3 - FileHippo.com

Hi i have a folder that will not let me delete it, I have tried to change permissions but do not really know what I am doing so any advice would help.

I keep getting this error when I try to deleted the folder; 133956 I unchecked and applied Read Only, but the box stayed checked like that. 133957 I'm logged in as myself, which is an administrator account

Whatever I try, I cannot delete this folder. I've tried to rename it, added files to it, safe mode, nothing works. I might have to format the partition. Any ideas?
