I can't find my scanned documents

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade from Vista Ultimate and then I installed the latest driver and software from HP for my Officejet 7410. Everything works OK except my scanned documents are not in "My Scans" even though that sd where the HP scanning software says that is where they were sent. Any ideas anyone?

What is the exact path that the Scanner software follows to save your scans?

Do you have a folder there named My Scans? If you do not, try to create one, and then scan something, see what happens.

Try using search if you know the names of any of the files

    Cant find scans

I am having the same problem. I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Professional and updated the HP software for my Officejet 7410. All features work as far as printing , coping and yes I can scan and see it on my screen, but when I go to save it is gone. I searched the entire hard drive and they are not there.I tried all options above and it doesnt not save. Any ideas. I use scanning every week and I am getting behind on my work....HELP

I found the missing scanned docs problem.

I ended-up spending almost the entire day after Christmas on and off the phone with Microsoft after HP insisted it was a Windows 7 problem. However the day with Microsoft solved the problem. There IS a patch available at the HP website but it is not listed under Windows 7. It is actually a BIOS problem and it is found in HP's website under BIOS patches, not Windows 7 patches.
