    Mouse pointer

I have looked all over and do not see a solution to my problem. My mouse pointer has a mind of it's own even when typing. Also, I have the pointer set to not show when typing but it still sets on where I am typing especially in Facebook it has a box where I am typing. I have set the sensitivity way down on the touch pad and am at a loss as what to do. Sometimes when in Microsoft Explorer and moving the mouse an object or folder is selected and moved on it's own. I do not see anything here in reference to my problem. Even when typing the cursor moves randomly into another area and adds the typed letters there. I use the touch pad only and NO external mouse. Please help.

I did and it says it is up to date. I even did a full scan with Kaspersky and Malwarebytes and all is said to be OK.

Just connect a wired usb mouse to your laptop, then disable the laptops mouse, problem solved :)

uneducated LOL, ya right. It`s a simple fix while you work on your problem.

Ok then uninstall and reinstall the mousepad and driver software.

    Clean your touchpad mouse.

How are they for educated answers.

Please don`t come here, ask for help, and then be rude. Just say Thank You for your suggestions and move on.

    drivers

    Hi Duehue,
This is gonna sound silly but i would like you to roll back your driver

    WHY.

With the intro of W10 there were numerous problems with the OEM/Synaptics touchpad drivers.
multiple releases have been made sinse, and its possible that some of these are now incompatible with W7.
