Updating my motherboard's bios driver. Is it okay?

The title says it all but,

I found a recently new driver (5.31 Rev.A) in this website: http://soggi.eu/mbs/msi-oem/MS-7525-VER-1.0-Boston.htm. Is it going to go smoothly or brick itself up? I don't even know if it's possible to flash the old bios so I can restore it anytime just in case this one screws up.

It`s not called a driver, you are simply updating or flashing your bios.

If you don`t know what you`re doing, don`t do it.

There`s no need to update the bios unless you are having a specific problem that the latest bios will address.

The BIOS should not be updated unless the update specifically addresses a problem you are having. It should not be done just because there is a newer version available. A failed BIOS update, which can happen even if you do everything right, can render your computer unbootable. In some cases the only recovery is physical replacement of the BIOS chip by a trained technician.
