    I Need A New Monitor

    I accidentally broke my monitor.

In the dark I tripped over a dining chair, fell face first on two dining chairs. Then fell off , then the trip chair fell on me.
    I'm very bruised and sore.

In the falling, I knocked my desktop monitor on its face. Onto the keyboard.

It is not externally cracked. But it won't start, the pointer won't load, and its distorted. The right side looks cracked.
The tower itself is loading up. You can see it through the distortion.

My computer is a 2010 Acer Aspire. Windows 64bit premium.
Obviously, due to the broken monitor, can't tell you more.

What kind of monitor can I replace it with? Any Acer post 2010? A generic?
It has two plugs on the monitor.
I'm not faffing round fixing it. I'm just going to buy a new one.

What monitor do I need to get? I cannot spend a lot. I'd like to keep it under £100. Under £130 maximum.

I game a LOT, so it needs to be able to show games properly. Also needs to be good enough to do image editing, digital art, typing, etc.

    Please help me.

    Hi,
Should have a model # on the top right of it
    Probably a 20" HD 1600-900 display
Amazon should have plenty or you could go anywhere locally and pick one up.

Thank you very much everyone! :)

I got a used dell from the PC repair shop in the village. Used but newer than my Acer.
    It was £45.
I might not be in the wait for a online ordered one next week. It was better to do it cash in hand and in person.
My husband picked it up Friday.
Its smaller. But is OK. And if it goes I know I can get a replacement.

Oddly, the PC has stopped lagging on games since I got it. It lagged on games every so often.
Maybe it was the monitor. I thought it was the avast antivirus virus firewall blocking them and causing it.
    Maybe it's fixed it. :)

Thank you all. I bookmarked the monitors linked.
