    Look up your motherboard on line and find the usb 3.0 drivers and install them if they are not already installed.
    I'm not sure how one can loose a motherboard CD. Do another search. It would make things easier if you had the CD.

    hmm just found alot of threads on google that say usb 3.0 on that mobo does not work hmm

    we have a big house and i always put things in a safe place then my missus moves them ,will look again

    thanks derikimo found them and they have been downloaded ,the 2 on the front when the mini usb 3 is inserted do not flash at all maybe i have not got those conected properly on the mobo,the back 1 i have found there are 4 30 ports and on 1 when i insert the drive it lashes as if to read it but then its not in my computer

    According to your manual, the ones on the back are ASmedia and Intel,

    ORICO Mini USB3.0 Card Reader (CTU33)-2016-03-05_22h12_12.png

    The front header is just Intel.

    It looks like it is trying to install an Intel USB driver in your screenshot.

    Did you click run?

    Unplug your card reader for a minute and try installing that driver it wants.

    Did you ever install the chipset drivers? That may be causing some issue if you haven't.
