I need to know the maximum RAM per slot.

Looks like 2gbs per slot is the max or 4x2gbs for a total of 8gbs

Probably a Dell Optiplex 760, maybe 6 or 8 years old?

The Googling I did suggests 2 GB per slot. Some variations have 2 slots, some have 4.

Windows 10 64 bit

That motherboard is what is used in a Dell OptiPlex 760. The spec's that I find for that is 2GB max per slot for total of 8GB.

Next time you post, be more specific on what you have, so we are not guessing or doing a lot of searching to find out. (A google search would have gotten you the information).
