RAID1 won't rebuild on ASROCK 970 Xtreme 3

I have a raid 1 array created on an ASROCK 970 Exreme 3. It recently degraded. However, I see both drives in the BIOS. I would like to rebuild the array but I can't seem to get it to work. Using RAIDXpert, I see that the rebuild option is greyed out but I see the missing drive as an individual drive. Does anyone know how to fix this?

ASRock A75 Pro4-M or Asrock B75 Pro3-M?
I used the A75 Pro4-M in my current build, but I'm building another for a friend. I'm not sure if I should go with the same board, or use the B75 Pro3-M this time. It's hard to find any reviews on either of these boards. I like the PCIE spacing on the A75 board, but I'd also like to try the...

Raid1 ssd & hdd
I have an Intel 80GB SSD (bootable OS win7 installed) and a WD 500GB HDD(storage and backup). Is it possible to mirror my SSD onto an 80GB volume on my HDD using W7's RAID1? If so, do I suffer a performance hit on my read/write speeds in W7 on my SSD? Thanks

So I have Windows 7 and I love it. However, I'd like to install another OS, can I do that using my RAID1 setup? (RAID1 is mirroring)
