Back space key displays Extended display menu when pressed

I have a toshiba Portege running back space key displays the Extended display window (like for projector), my CTRL key too make a copy of any think highlighted when I press it, how do I sort that out....I have formatted and reinstalled windows but same problem.

I would try this:

  1. Go to Device Manager
  2. Locate the keyboard
  3. Right click and select uninstall
  4. Reboot

Extended displays reset after time out
I have extended my display to two monitors. However, when my computer turns the monitor off after some inactivity, the display is automatically reset to one monitor shortly after waking up. Is there a way to prevent this? Is this an option?
