You want to know how much ram you got? Or what frequency it runs at? Advanced CPU info including temperatures?

Well now it's all here. From the people who brought you Ccleaner, Recuva and more, here is the perfect program to view advanced info about your hardware. Clean and simple. This is still in Beta, but it is already working and looking great.

    This app features 9 sections:
    • Summary
    • Operating System
    • CPU
    • RAM
    • Motherboard
    • Graphics
    • Hard Drives
    • Optical Drives
    • Audio

Let's have a look at the program:

Lets first check the quick overview

Now lets have a look at the CPU section

    And over to the ram

Now lets see some HDD info

And to end it with some motherboard information

It can be downloaded right here: Piriform - Speccy

    Enjoy!

It's like Everest, except it's free and it looks nicer.

I like the GPU temp monitoring. Does anyone know whether the reported GPU temperature is accurate?

It looks awesome. I might just use this over my ASUS PROBE II.

It's certainly in BETA, yes, and it doesn't work properly with all hardware.

For instance, it doesn't report my fairly unambiguous system specifications at all correctly - and IMHO, by far superior is the software called SIW.

This is the second current thread on this subject.

+1 SIW. I have loved it since I first saw it. I carry it on a flash drive so I can tell anything about any computer I see.

It should be far better when it's finalised. The problem it gave me was freezing when attempting to detect my GPU, and neither a reboot or task manager termination cured this behaviour.
