    hello i have this problem even doing the unableling in advance options of msconfig it dont turn to all usage of ram memory...
    im desesperate i made all the turorials i found and anything change the usage memory..

    Memory 8gb(2,43usable)
    Windows 7 32 bit operating system will never be able to use more than 4 gigs of ram.

    To use more than 4 gigs of ram you will need to do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit.

    by all means, yes, install 64 bit.

    If you need a link to download the 64 bit iso file, just let us know and we`ll post it.

    Right now we have no idea of what version of Windows 7 you`re running.

my windows 7 load with so many important application turning disable.so i cant use the internet the aero effect and many more..try to use msconfig to boot in normal startup but it suddenly change to selective startup, so i cant load with all devives n driver..how to solve it..help me
Ok, I am literally KILLING myself over this! I installed Windows 7 64Bit over XP around a month ago and it was so good that I recommended it to my brother who was previously on XP too. We got him a copy of the 32bit version as he has only 2gb of memory, and he installed it on his machine....

Can you tell me where the msconfig or equivalent is located in Win 7? I could not find it in system32 folder. I am running 64 bit version. I would like to make an icon to start it as I have in Win XP. The msconfig I got by a search was no good.
