Unknown Device under USB Controllers Error Code 43.

I have a Dell Studio 1737 Laptop that ran fine and had no errors. The integrated web cam also worked
fine. After upgrading to Windows 7 64 bit from Windows Vista 64 bit I have a error in the device manager.

The error listing shows unknown device, and the says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I believe the error is due to the wrong driver. I think the unknown device
is the web cam, since there is no device manager listing. To verify it, I unplugged the web cam ribbon cable from the motherboard, and the bad entry...and error disappeared from the device manger, indicating all was fine now. On plugging the cable back in, the error returned.

I don't believe there is a hardware problem with the web cam, as it worked fine, prior to the upgrade.
I can find no "creative labs integrated webcam" 64 bit driver for windows 7 on dells website, or anywhere
for that matter. I tried using the vista 64 bit driver with compatibility settings, and it still didn't work.
I tried deleting, rescanning, rebooting, tried other incorrect drivers, on the device dozens of times with no luck. I've had a lot of experience dealing with device manager problems, but now I'm stuck.

Anyone have a Driver for Win 7 64 bit, or know any other ideas to try? Dells Driver listing for Win 7 64 bit
gives no listing for web cam.

    Thanks,

    Eric

Hello and welcome Eric well mate I have tried accessing the Dell site for the driver as I too believe that it is a problem with it simply because you have changed systems and maybe you need a driver that makes the device compatible with 7 64bit.

So have you got a link to look at?? as I said I cannot access the support site for the driver.
