    Mouse cursor won't move

In the past 3 days I've tried 3 different mouses on my computer, however none of them can seem to move my cursor. When I press left, right, and the stroller button, it sometimes works, so I know that the problem is not with my mouse. I've been navigating with my keyboard and my pen tablet, which is extremely awkward because it's made for drawing! I'd love to have my cursor back but I honestly have no clue what the issue is, I'm always scanning for viruses so I'm unsure if that is the problem. Windows will recognize the device as it displays it in my device manager.

As a note, I've tried 2 USB mouses and one PS/2 mouse. No dice. However, when I move my cursor with my pen tablet it works absolutely fine.

Does anyone know the solution? It's driving me up the wall ahaha.

If this thread is in the wrong place, please point me in the correct direction. Thanks!

Could you let us know exactly what computer you are having this problem with that
has pen tablet and PS2 capabilities?

Could you also let us know exactly what mouse you are trying to get to work?

When you have your mouse plugged in and reboot, Windows 7 should have the basic drivers for basic mouse movement.
