    Unknown Device

    I have just performed a clean install 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a Dell Inspiron 2305. I have installed drivers from Dell site. All seems well with the exception of in Device Manager under Other devices I have an Unknown device. Properties of the device indicate the location is on PCI standard ISA bridge. Also under detail tab the hardware id ACPI\NTN0530 with *NTN0530 below that. i have installed the chipset driver. I tried to search the PCI database but maybe I'm not doing that right. Need some guidance on this one.

    Thanks georgeks. I checked out the site you suggested. I like it. However I did get a couple of responses but they did not solve the problem. I started googling again and found a post on the Dell community site. Searched in it and found a post with the same PC and the same issue. Turns out it was the Nuvoton Consumer Infrared (CIR) Driver. This driver was not on Dell's driver list for this PC. In case someone finds this post in an effort to resolve the same issue here is the driver;

    Thanks again for the site. I later noticed its in the our sites on this forum.
