    Unable to add printer port



    WhenI go to Devices and Printers and right click on the icon for my systemprinter, select Printer Properties and then click on the tab for Ports andclick on Add Port the following error message appears Add a port dialog cannot be displayed Error0x0000007b What could be the cause of this error? . How can I fixit?

    Are you just installing a printer for the first time or has this printer been installed & is not working properly?.

    I have had this printer for over a year. It is a Brother HL3100CDW.

    Have you installed the software for the printer, which would include the printer driver. If you wish to get the latest printer driver this Brother website could help. You need to select your location.

    Also look in Device Manager & look for any yellow exclamation marks, which indicates a problem in that device.
