USB3 hub recognizes USB3 as USB2
Hi all,
Since a while, my USB3 hub is acting up and offering only USB2 speed for my WD Elements external drive. If ever I plug the drive directly into the laptop's USB3 ports, it recognized as USB3. But through the hub, Windows says:
The hub is a TP-Link UH700, which has 7 ports (actually 2 4-port hubs internally daisy-chained together). The manufacturer just relies on the proper Windows drivers installing automatically.
In my computer, it recognizes the USB hub twice: once as a USB3 hub and once as a USB2 hub.
I've re-installed the Intel USB3 Host Controller and Root Hub already twice now and forced the Intel drivers also onto the USB hub that wouldn't be able to find any other drivers. So they use both iusb3hub.sys
Through reading I've found the little gadget USB Device Tree Viewer, so I'll attach the log from that in case anybody can something out there. (In the file, search for "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller" and continue reading from there.)
