How To See The Webcam - DigiEye?

    I plugged a webcam in.

    Nothing.

Searched device manager and found a mention of Digieye. Working okay. Device type: webcam.

    O.K. I suppose that's it. Right?

But how to look at it, use it?

It is not in the directory tree like it used to be in XP.

    Any clues?

You need some program or software to interact with it. Like Skype or something like that.

You can see if it's working by going here,

You can use VLC to view a webcam - media, open capture device, click the dropdown to select the webcam, click play.
