240GB Fat32 Drive

I have a Maxtor Portable drive 240GB and it can only be formatted to NTFS or exFat through windows. I know for a fact i can format it to fat32 through command prompt.

The only reason i want it fat32 is to put movies and other vids on it so the xbox and wii can see it. So will i run into any problems with that? All movies are under 3Gb. Will it slow the transfer speed of the drive either?

It should be fine, Windows 7 and read/write to exFAT and FAT32 fine.

Recently my old Win 2000 Pro OS, IDE driven computer crashed (black screen-no nothing but the Drives and cooling fans still spun) so I got a new E-Machines ET1831-05 (Windows 7) at Best Buy. I naively figured I could take the two HDD's from the old machine and put them on the new one in parallel...
