Triple channel memory (adding another trip set)

I have a P6X58D Premium mobo. It has 6 memory slots and already has 1 set of triple channel memory, which is ocz 3g2000lv2g. It has a CAS latency of 8 and Timing 8-8-8-24. 1600 (PC3 12800)
I want to get another set of 3 sticks to fill the remaining slots.

    What is important to match?

Hello Chris sorry for the wait but mate any and all of the specs of the original ones for the new stuff and do get them as a set if you can as they will more likely be closely matched.
If you want really detailed info on the RAM you have use this
    Using HW Info
    PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton) with VBATT is a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE
Now the voltage on the different rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machine will not work properly if at all.
See this for the rail voltage info
PSUs 101: A Detailed Look Into Power Supplies (Section 2.)
The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel
    FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
    PART B:
Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in and then click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. See pic for example.

    Use PART B:

In theory any combination of compatible modules should work, but things don't always work that way in the real world. Any mismatch in specifications and even modules with identical specifications but from different manufacturers can cause problems. There is no way to know without trying what will work and what will not.

I am not saying that these problems are common, only that they are possible. As an ideal all memory modules should be a matched set.

Yes Chris as LMiller has added it is important to get matched sets wherever possible and a good source of advice is Tradesman here Welcome to the G.SKILL TECH FORUM

Yep Chris have used it in all my builds and in my other machines where possible and they do have good prices as well.
