    Win7 PS/2 Keyboard/numpad Shortcut Problems

    Hi all,

I'm having a few keyboard issues which I'm unable to solve. Whist they aren't critical they are rather annoying, hopefully someone can point me in the direction of the problem...... The keyboard is an old IBM PS/2 keyboard which I love, don't want to get of this thing!!!

The first problem is with the numpad. When I hit the enter key on the numpad (something which it turns out I do quite a bit) windows opens up a new firefox browser window, firefox being my default browser. It will also carry out the enter function, not just opening the new browser window. This occurs at anypoint, even if I'm not running any programs.

Likewise if I hit the numpad + key, it will carry out the key's function but also open up the calculator.

Lastly the regular arrow keys... they will scroll up down and right... but not left. I have to keep tapping the key. With numlock off the number 4 key will scroll backwards.

Most of the solutions I have seen seem to suggest that sticky keys is on, this is not the case!!! It's really annoying me at the moment!!! I haven't tried a different keyboard yet but that will be the next step unless someone knows what is going on?????

    Many thanks

You could try unistalling/reinstalling the driver.
