List of Hard Drives only appear in BIOS after second boot

When I boot my computer, the list of bootable media only contains 1 hard drive, the other are missing and booting stops at "verifying DMI pool data".

If I press the "reboot" button, the full list of attached drives appear in BIOS, and windows starts fine.

Why doesn't BIOS see all my drives until the second try?

Please update your profile with all information you have about your hardware.
Tel us the story of the computer. It's new or old? Did you build it or is from a brand?

I've had once a similar problem and a BIOS update fix it.

This could also be a sign of failing CMOS battery. How old is the computer/motherboard?
