    Hi,
I've been using or trying really amazon prime free 30 day trial for a few days now
Seem okay started using ie11 and silverlight was a tad weird.

Switched to Firefox and html5 and seems a lot better
Movies wise there are a lot of crappy movies never realized how many lol
    Some good though.

Never tried Ruku by my nephew has one and streaming pretty much sucks possibly it's his isp at fault at&t and all I know how bad or slow their internet speed is

What is your source for TV programming? Over the Air? Cable? Satellite? Do you have a router?

Darn! I might've been able to help the OP if it was cable or OTA.

If I understood well, you want to connect the Sky decoder output to your computer and then watch the TV programs.
Is the computer and the decoder in the same room? At what distance are them apart?
If you do have internet broad band (> 10 M/s), have you consider Netflix?

    Hi,
I would guess most would just get a steaming box like a Ruku
Any pci slot t.v. tuner card would also probably need a antenna as well to grab over the air waves for local stations and also setup windows media center which I have personally never used.

Then there are many online services like hulu/ amazon prime/ netflix/... that are mostly yearly subscriptions for movies......
