Win7 64-bit Bluetooth No Longer Connects To Ext Speakers (iPad2 Will)

My Dell Inspiron 7720 17R no longer connects to Jawbone Jambox external bluetooth speakers. Every connection attempt used to work without fail, even without having to re-pair them to my pc. I recently bought a pair of Damson Jet speakers but they won't connect either.

Note: All the above speakers connect to & work perfectly with my iPad2, so I have decided the problem
must be with Win7. No MS site I found has been any help. All I see is blame on speaker makers.
Also, I have run troubleshooters without success but they are bs anyway.

I have exhausted my abilities updating drivers, etc in Win7 64-bit. I have updated everything I can find, both MS & Intel. I have examined every property sheet I can find but don't see any issues. The Services seem to be entering properly. I have also tried manual-ticking each Service when adding the device.

I don't know when the Jambox stopped connecting as I was using it with my iPad2. If I knew when it stopped I could possibly restore to that point but no such luck.

I can add both speaker brands to my laptop devices but "Connection Failed" occurs after numerous tries to pair them. I think they are being added properly as the property sheets do fill with info somewhat. I have removed each device several times, even rebooting after removal, then adding each again singly, only to still have problem.

Note: I had to recently re-install my WebCam & TouchPad from the Dell site. I don't know when I lost it
either as I don't use it that much. Could some event have caused all of these issues?

I would really appreciate some help. I suppose I could just plug the speakers in but I bought them to use as bluetooth devices. I have tried to ignore this but I can't stand it when something doesn't work. If I need to submit any additional info I certainly will do so.

Hopefully someone else has had this issue & been able to solve it.

This 70-year-old is about to start drinking.

Maybe that would be my best solution.

Hello and welcome Hank mate this sounds (no pun) like a driver issue and I would try updating the Blu tooth driver - I have always had problems with Blu tooth drivers on my Toshibas
Go to here Drivers & Downloads | Dell Australia self detect because I can only find the US and Aussie sites and check for the Blu tooth driver.

Once you have done the driver try pairing the speakers again using tha Add device in Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers - the easy way to get thta site is hit Start > Devices and Printers > Add device

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
No blue tooth was a known issue of KB3172605
KB3172605 was reissued this month but the fix was supposed to be coming from Intel's end so I guess see if it's installed and see if Intel has a update offered.

Since the update was reissued it does not state the blue tooth issue

I screwed up & marked as solved before I posted my solution.

Thanks to the "helpers" who redirected me to the real issue, bt drivers, I re-ran the Intel Driver Utility 2.6 & got stuff to fix (ran before but nothing to fix). In fact, during download I noticed "BT Server" for the first time.

Hoo-Rah, I'm now fixed. Both devices added, paired & work.
