LG Bluetooth Soundbar recognised in Devices but will not connect

I have recently had to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium. Originally I had an LG Bluetooth Wireless Soundbar working ok but since the reinstall I cannot get it to work. The PC recognises the soundbar but when it looks for a Driver it says none can be found. I do recall originally that I had a bit of software which was on the bottom right of the task bar and when I opened it, I took the option to connect. I cannot remember the softare.

    Any ideas please?

Open device manager, right click on the device - Properties - Details tab - and look for hardware ID
    It's a string like this: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_1458A182&REV_1003

    Hi Megahertz07
Apologies for delay. Still no luck getting it working other than BlueSoleil which is now looking for payment.

    As requested, Hardware Id is:
    BTHENUM\{0000110b-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&0039

I found this one from HP. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp47001-47500/sp47022.exe
Download it. When executed it will expand on C:\SWSetup\SP47022. Don't execute the setup.
Open device manager and update the driver. Then when it looks for the driver browse to C:\SWSetup\SP47022 and let it install.

Unfortunately it does not recognise anything when I try that. Any ideas, am I doing something wrong?
I select the device (Other Devices; Bluetooth Peripheral Device).
Right Click and Update Driver Properties
Browse my Computer for driver software
Enter: C:\SWSetup\SP47022 and tick include subfolders
    Click Next
Get: Windows was unable to install your Bluetooth Peripheral Device
Windows could not find driver software for your device.

On Device manager, Other Devices - Bluetooth Peripheral Device uninstall it.
Make it search on the internet to see if it finds the appropriate driver.

    Hi,
Killing blue tooth devices is one of the bad things with the first release of KB3172605
It was released again without the known issue note but as far as I read the fix was supposed to be on Intel's end to fix.
No telling if they ever did though ?

I uninstalled the device and tried to get the system to look for a driver but, once again, got the following:
Windows was unable to install your Bluetooth Peripheral Device.
Windows could not find driver software for your device.
Cannot find driver on LG (make of soundbar) website.

I contacted LG directly and they advised that the sound bar would only be compatible with LG Wireless Sound Sync and if the PC's standard software is not compatible with LG Wireless Sound Sync I would need to download third party software to allow this.

Anybody able to advise on any (preferably free) third party software that would allow me to do this?

    Hi,
Did the sound bar come with the computer ?
If it did there has to be a driver offered by the manufacture compatible with win-7 and on their website

Use the snid on you case and search for it on their website.
