Is IRST good for Samsung SSDs?

    I keep it so I can check for firmware updates for my 840 and 850 EVO's.

    I say, get rid of it! Then see how things go. There is nothing from stopping you from downloading the latest version of it again from Samsung if you decide you want it back.

    Just to add confusion to your decision Cris1, I use both IRST & Samsung Magician & I don't have any problems.
