    HDD light turns solid red while no HD is attached in it


    its been a week since this problem occured, i open my pc..no response from mouse and keyboard, black screen.. well, i disconnected all from VC, ram to power supply and clean it but same thing happen when i open it, i notice that the HDD light freezes to red whenever i turn my pc on so i thought it's my HD i try to back up and reformat, same thing again but when i try not to attached the HD so i can see what's the problem oh well the HDD light still freezes at red even if the HD is not attached

    i need you guys, please help me

    Check the front panel cables attached to the MOBo socket.

New monitor & video card: Samsung 2433BW Plus & EVGA GTX 470. Sometimes from a cold boot the screen just goes a solid light blue colour with no cursor. I have to turn the machine off either via the PSU or holding the power button for about 4 seconds. Any ideas? Thanks :)
