I'd go to Crucial.com and let their RAM configurator sniff your laptop and let it tell you what Crucial RAM is compatible.

You also might want to go to the Lenovo support site for your particular model and see if they have any sort of approved RAM or detailed specs.

I'd be antsy about buying RAM from Ebay when there are so many easily found alternatives. Maybe not in Albania?

I'd stick with a well known brand--Corsair, Crucial, Gskill, Kingston (Hyper X).

But the vendor is at least as important as the brand. If the RAM is compatible and "works", you'll never notice the difference between brands. But you WILL notice the difference between vendors if there is the slightest problem.

If you don't want to have memory problems, don't mix different types.
    You have three choices:
    - Buy exactly the same module: DDR3 Hyundai PC 12800 - 11-11-11-28 - 1.35V - 4G and install on slot 2
    - Buy any PC 12800 or DDR3 1600 11-11-11-28 (or lower latency)- 1.35V - 8 G and replace the existing 4 G on slot 1.
    - Buy any PC 12800 or DDR3 1600 11-11-11-28 (or lower latency)- 1.35V - 4+4 G and replace the existing 4 G on slot 1 and 2.

    Any of these
    Team Neptune 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model TND3L8G1600HC9DC-S01 - Newegg.com
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9S-8GRSL - Newegg.com

Most laptops have 2 ram slots, even older ones, he probably doesn`t realize the other slot is under the keyboard.

The scanner will tell him what`s what.
