    Ineffective-crazy wireless mouse

    Hello to all of you!
I know is difficult to find help in my problem, but I don't know what else to do...
Before 3 days I bought a wireless mouse and nothing is anymore right in my system..
The cursor is jumping, Folders opening just by showing to them, it opens even more... files and folders
which are inside.... Opening or closing windows just because i've pass the pointer over them...
With few words it is very sensitive bringing completely mess... more than you can imagine!...
Ok, I tried some solutions with no success.
    1) "playing" with the settings from 'mouse' and 'keyboard' items in Control Panel.
    2) In Folder Options I change The 'Single click' to 'Double click' for to open an item
    3) Trying System Restore to a previous point
    4) Reset iexplorer because there is much more mess there than in other apps
    5) Scan the system with Malwarebytes
    6) Scan with Dell diagnostic for mouse and keyboard and last
    7) I tried the mouse in another PC... ok behavor was also somehow sensitive but not this crazy confusion it brought to my system
So I'm thinking or to reinstall Windows.... which I don't really want.... or to forget this mouse and find a new one...
I've a feeling that is a virus... (because of a crazy system..), but Malwarebytes found a few Pup.Optional only, which it removes.
Any idea is welcome and much appreciate for any help...
(is there anything to update drivers for mouse or keybooards when they are generic from microsoft?)
    Thank you

Are you using a mouse pad (or what surface is on)?
Is the receiver close to the mouse?
Give us the brand and model of your mouse.

There should have a Driver come with the wireless mouse.
Or rather how do you do the setup when you start using the wireless mouse.

Are you using wireless broadband and any electronic devices around the mouse.

By standard, it could due to the wireless on 2.4GHz as most wireless device using this band.

In other word, interference on 2.4GHz band wireless, may cause these issue to happen.

    Thanks for reply.
    Is a wireless optical mouse "Omega" 2.4GHz (a cheap one - 20Euro)
I'm using just a book for surface which must be not a problem (i suppose... always I'm using right books...)
The receiver is very close.... The nearest usb port 15cm the longer 50cm (no hubs)
(So 20Euro maybe is not a big deal... (a small it is..), my 'fragile' system concerns me more.. problems and mess I got in...)
    Thanks for time you spend.

Eric3742 thanks for your reply too.
I could not find a driver for this mouse in the site omega have, nor there was with the baggage i bought.
I just put the receiver in the usb port and windows did the rest.
There are not any other devices near (ok maybe there is a TV or another laptop or iphones but more far than 2-3 meters)
I start to believe or the hardware (mouse) is ineffective or my system suffers from virus, adware, rootkits .....
I don't know.. something ...from all this goodies... I tried also sfc -scannow but it finds everything right.

The book my be the reason.
Get a clean printer paper and try your mouse on it.

    Hi Megahertz07.

The "book" is not the problem (I tried a few surfaces with no better luck)
The good news is that suddenly the situation is going a little better!
I don't know which from all the actions help it ... but there is
    a remarkable progress!
Sometimes it gets total crazy... but most of the time i can work.
Hoping that situation will become better
I thank you one more time for your help
