    I8kfanGUI settings?

Do these settings look fine or need to be changed?

    Thanks.

I am not familiar with that particular monitoring programs but everything looks fine to me except in the first image where it shows the state of your CPU and GPU fans are up in the mid 70,000 RPM range. That's impossible so I don't know what it means, nor do I know what the 0 means next to those high values.

At any rate, I see you have everything set to Automatic and I recommend you leave it there. But I also note your CPU is near idle at 9% utilization so you need to make sure your temps are still acceptable when the computer is being taxed too.

Thanks, I shall keep you posted, once I make changes of fan speeds. Have options of Off, No change, Slow and Fast, and see where fan RPMs and CPU loads are.

once I make changes of fan speeds
Why? I recommend you don't dink with them. If not broken, don't fix it!

As I noted before, except for impossible fan speeds everything looked fine to me. Now your fan speeds are 2410 and 1991RPM which look totally realistic and reasonable now. And your temps still look fine.

Thanks for your expert comments, which I appreciate. Do the temp and fan settings look fine, to turn ON and Off?

One reason for using this app, is that have fried 3 Nvidias prior to this, so am trying to be careful.

I don't know what you mean by look fine to turn on and off. As I noted before, I would just leave things alone.

If you fried 3 graphics cards, I would look at your PSU.

Bad habit, of using the lap laying on carpet, resulting in less or none ventilation.

Now when its life is almost over am trying to take care of it.....gotta new Nvidia GeForce 512 MB GTX.

On the left reading fan turns off and next to it turns on....along with the speed.

I made a few changes too, separated the fans for CPU and GPU, must have noticed.
